Overview
A simple and small application designed to restore OS X applications to their default settings by
removing their preference .plist files
Sometimes applications can appear to have a mind of their own by crashing and doing unexpected
things and this could be due to the fact that apps can have corrupted preference files that inhibit their
normal functionality.
In order to solve this problem, you must either try to open the app and change its settings, or just
search the user Library and pray that you know which exact file to delete.

App Fixer comes with a practical solution for this problem, a streamlined and easy to use utility that
helps you restore your applications to their original settings by automatically removing their
preference plist files.
Note that, after the removal process, a new plist file will be generated with the app�s default settings
once you relaunch it.
As is the case of most OS X applications, App Fixer can be installed by simply drag and dropping the
application to the your Mac�s Applications folder.
Drag and drop any application to App Fixer�s main window and click the Fix
button for lightning fast reset
App Fixer features a stripped-down and minimalist graphic user-interface with a single window with
two buttons. In order for App Fixer to do its magic, you must click the Choose button, select the
application that you want to get in pristine shape, and click the Fix button.
Once the Fix button is clicked, App Fixer will quickly remove all related preference plists and saved
application state files. Furthermore, if the removal of all user preferences was successful, you will be
notified by a pop-up message window that will inform you to restart your Mac in order for the
changes to take place.
